As for a review, if you really want to know, I thought the book was excellent. The 2013 Baz Luhrmann movie was a faithful adaptation and perfectly captured the essence of the novel. I particularly enjoyed the quotes from the book sprinkled in throughout the movie, especially the beautiful closing sentence:
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
